With they did not mention to the at-risk children was that they would not be permitted into the building unless they’ve reached a certain level what getting still use their information to obtain these funds I think this is inappropriate behavior. It’s inappropriate because this option has never been presented to all those partners Casa Samba in particular for the higher level students we have rumors to believe that all that information that was collected for the new Orleans ballet association obtain this information from all of NORDC centers where they hold their regular classes. Once the state-of-the-art room was built only upper level students are permitted to use this room there is summer camps for the regular students but doing the regular operational hours it was only for upper-level students has 90% usage of this exclusive space. If you use monies from all of the children why can’t all the children benefit from this state-of-the-art building.

We would like to know how to do this if this is possible could someone explain us the proper procedure to do this?

Since no one has spoken to me or inform me about the policy with this I will have to assume the following. Because of all of the new partners in programs that has been introduced in the past 10 years as well as the development you’re new incoming programs That are supported by third-party funding. It is to my understanding that NORDC and Casa Samba or partners and within this partnership NORDC assist us in obtaining funding from programming and summer camps. So my question is here who shall I get authorization from to collect personal sensitive information from class participants IE;

Check stubs

Bank information info in order to prove a low-income status.

Social security number
The above information is used to obtain funding from just about any source

Why Casa Samba has not been given the exact same opportunity to connect with a contributor or a sponsor that has a standing relationship with NORDC for donating funding for Casa Samba’s programming

We are happy for New Orleans ballet association that was awarded their private state-of-the-art dance facility located at the Lyons Center facility that they have been granted exclusive occupancy.

So in in order for us to get this information.
1.) Should we just collect all of this sensitive information and presented to NORDC without NORDC giving me authorization.

2.) Do I get authorization from NORDC to collect this sensitive information knowing that I am connected with a sponsor or donor and then NORDC does the negotiations for me.

3.) Do I approach the donor do all of the financial negotiations with them and then come back to NORDC and then NORDC give me the authorization to get this personal information.

We would like to know the answer to the above questions?

Please take a look at the email where we were asked to do a black history program they said that they would look into getting some type of honorary him to do this performance but that never happened here is the email that suggests and they maybe finding or they would go to funding but they never followed up on.[popuppress id=”283″]

While we’re not getting funding we are still getting orders from your main office to rearrange the building in order to have functions there that does not pertain to Casa Samba. [popuppress id=”291″] We are being asked to perform more duties that should be performed by your employees and we are not getting paid for this. The building is understaffed and we have a lot of equipment that we use daily in this multipurpose room. When there is a function at the Annunciation center in order to not bring a hardship on the building manager who is very cooperative in working with us instead of asking her to move things around and mile the floor we do these things for her in order to help things go smoother for whatever the function is. We love helping the building manager, but unfortunately after while this becomes a job she needs assistance. These activities also take away from teaching our classes if we have to clean the space or rearrange the coming extra time to do this this is a job for us we are not receiving any funding. Please look at the photos. [popuppress id=”332″]

Administrative duties: since 2012 we have been sending in a record of our attendance to the NORDC Office. We are not being paid to do this. Yeah it is a requirement. If it is not understood that Casa Samba it Is contributing to NORDC to around $30,000 per year I would think that we should get some type of assistance and doing these administrative duties. At the same time you’re asking me to collect names for my attendance Records. At the same time the buildings front office is recording everyone who comes in the building. As everyone who enters the building needs to enter from the proper entrance. Basically I am doing double work because this information is being recorded by the front office of the building.

Disrespectful policy – Another’s very disrespectful policy that you have is denying us credit of visitors coming to our class. What this means is individuals who come to my class that does have the NORDC card Will be recorded in as aNORDC visitor not a Casa Samba class participant. This is bad for us because 90% of the people who come draw class I generated from our own personal website we do surveys about how people hear about the class. So why aren’t we not getting credited for the people that we are bringing to the annunciation center.
So when I send in my Weekly attendance records and my numbers at 110 for The week, NORDC Report would be significantly less. Because they record the people who did not have cards as visitors. Potentially putting us in the category not having a strong attendance record.
This policy line just self to the opportunity of making us eligible to be removed from the space and not be allowed to do classes anymore because of our low attendance record.

For me this is a very devious policy to committed partners along with the ballet association Casa Samba are the two longest standing partners in dance and culture. Please be aware that our attendance record is 80% of members of our company who comes consistently for all the long years that we have been in the center. We have never had over 15% of attendees to our classes that were not members of our company. We are constantly bringing in people to the annunciation center as a service to NORDC. And we are still not getting subsidize for our efforts

You do not promote anything about Casa Samba classes but yet and still you can come up with a healthy hero challenge that we know nothing about. Why weren’t we asked to participate in this event? [popuppress id=”341″] how many of the new events you have that involves partners that should be included. We feel to believe that the things we do are healthy as too. [popuppress id=”452″]

NORDC had special signs printed up for your new partners promoting their new classes in particular Zumba and Pilates. [popuppress id=”357″] these classes will be funded and brand-new partners will be receiving this funding Wall previous partners are not included in this. When Casa Samba has been leading the way helping you to reestablish Quality classes in our communities and neighborhoods. It has been made very clear that these new Partners will be paid for their services due to the new acquired funding that NORDC has received for programming employees funding that you have secured for your own programs. This is well understood, at the same time the situation is a little bit different here we are contributing money to NORDC yearly.

With the contributions that we are making to NORDC we do not get our classes promoted anywhere. We see all the sponsors names all over your brochure, but yet we do not get any publicity about. While based on a fit Nola pay scale I’ll $50 per hour, Casa Samba has a Half $1 million dollars in funding that we have contributed to NORDC in “FREE” children’s classes. There was never a sign printed specially promote Casa Sabca classes at anytime. Especially for when it was needed the most for the relocation of Casa Samba classes. We had no promotions about this move in order to help redirect our class participants to the new location.

Why are we not listed here? the past 10 years we have contributed over a half of million dollars in children’s classes year to date. [popuppress id=”349″] Classes we are talking about here is Zumba and Pilates we have noticed the promotion of these classes all over the city. These New signs are very expensive they’re waterproof and in full color. We understand that NORDC is growing but at the same time it Is not helping the previous Partners that has help NORDC grow by giving them $35,000 a year for 10 years or more in free classes for children. Let’s compare the promotion of our classes schedules in the Casa Samba schedules.
